Hurst College Uniform

All ¹ú²úÑÇÖÞ¾«Æ·¸£Àû, Senior Prep and Senior School pupils are required to wear the Hurst College uniform. Sixth Form students wear formal suits.

All school uniform, with the exception of shoes and Sixth Form suits, can be purchased from the Stevensons College Uniform Shop which is located on the College campus.

New Uniform – September 2025

The Hurst College uniform changed from September 2024. There is a period of transition while pupils grow out of the old uniform and new items are purchased. Please read the New School Uniform FAQs (2024/25) on how the new uniform is being phased in.

Changes to the uniform for pupils in Year 7 to Upper Sixth came into effect from last September (2024).

Changes to the uniform for Reception to Year 6 came into effect from September 2025.

  • Sixth Form: ‘Additional uniform rules’ reworded (page 33, July 2025)
  • Senior Prep School: All pupils in Year 7 and above will require a CASIO FX-991CW scientific calculator

Parents and pupils may drop in without a prior appointment.

Ordering online

Hurst College uniform is available to purchase from the Stevensons website. Postal options and Click and Collect are available.

Location

The on-site shop is located on Chalker’s Lane, next to the Dance and Drama studios (opposite the Prep School). There are reserved parking spaces for customers.

Returns policy

The Stevensons’ industry-leading 180 days returns policy means you can purchase in the summer holiday with confidence, even if your child has a sudden growth spurt before the start of term.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

The Hurst Foundation runs our Second Hand Uniform Shop, which raises funds which directly benefit pupils.

Opening times (term time)

Mondays: 8.00am – 9.30am
First Friday of each month: 3.45pm – 5.00pm

Location

The shop is located behind the main Hurst College Uniform Shop. Take the path that runs to the right hand side of the main Uniform Shop (through the gate), then turn left through the green gates and the Second Hand Uniform Shop is on the right.

Due to the change in the uniform from September 2024, the Second Hand Uniform Shop is no longer collecting most of the ‘old’ uniform and are only accepting the following items:

  • Old Uniform: Bench coats, Large size hoodies (adult S, M, L or XL only) and Canterbury tracksuits (any size, but good condition only i.e. no holes).
  • Sports equipment:Ìý Astro shoes, rugby and football boots, cricket shoes, athletic spikes, climbing shoes, hockey sticks, cricket bats and cricket pads and helmets.

Items for re-sale

Parents who have uniform (items listed above/any new uniform) for re-sale can bring their items to the Second Hand Uniform Shop during opening hours or, when closed, left at The Lodge.

All items should be clean and in good condition. TheyÌýshould be clearly labelled with the seller’s name and address and a telephone number and bank details should be put in a sealed envelope so that payment can be made via BACS.

50% of the proceeds go to the seller and 50% to the Hurst Foundation funds. Anything not deemed suitable for sale, or unsold after 2 years, will be donated to charity.
