Customised spaces
The Hurst campus includes versatile spaces which can be customised for your requirements. Each facility can be booked as a stand-alone area or combined with other areas of the College.
Hurst has a number of suggested Hire Packages, but you are welcome to create your own to create your ideal event.
Requirements
To ensure safety and compliance, all hirers must provide:
- Safeguarding policy provided with nominated DSL contact details
- Safer Recruitment Policy/statement provided including DBS certification for any staff working with children or vulnerable adults
- Public Liability Insurance (at the minimum cover level specified by Hurst College)
- A completed Booking Form prior to confirmation

New Bury Theatre Auditorium
A modern theatre for performances, drama productions, speaker events, lectures, and events with an audience.
New Bury Theatre Auditorium specifications
- Up to 331 seats (depending on layout)
- Stage suitable for a cast of up to 80 people
- Theatre size: 1,370m2
- Ability to display presentations with audio

Technicians
Please enquire about the total charge for Technicians as this is dependent on the hours worked. Hurst offers a bespoke package per booking depending on the requirements of the hire. For example, you could book a full team for lighting, sound, stage and flies, or individual technicians where required.

New Bury Theatre Foyer
The New Bury Theatre Foyer is a multi-use area which can be hired as a stand-alone venue or with the New Bury Theatre. The Foyer is ideal for social gatherings, musical events or as an exhibition space.

- Room size: 160m2

*If selling alcohol at the bar, a Temporary Events Notice will be required. It is the hirer’s responsibility to obtain this.
Moore Hall
The Moore Hall is a large hall with the option of tiered seating. It is ideal for martial arts classes, dance or drama classes or performances, conferences, and speaker events.

- Additional floor space for 100 seats
- Room size: 150m2
- Mirror and barre – ideal for dance practice or performances

Dining Hall
A large and impressive wooden panelled Dining Hall with large windows, high ceiling, hanging lights and decorative flags.

- Stage area with space for bench seating and/or a speaker
- Fixed food serving island, suitable for buffet food
- Room size: 230m2 (23m x 10m)
- Stage area: 44m2 (4.6m x 9.65m)
- Pop-up screen/projector to display presentations with audio

Gallery Dining Area
The Gallery Dining Area overlooks the main Dining Hall. Ideal for small dining events.
