About Hurstpierpoint College

Hurstpierpoint College (known as Hurst) is a thriving co-educational day and boarding school for pupils from 4 to 18 years of age. The Hurst campus comprises a ¹ú²úÑÇÖÞ¾«Æ·¸£Àû School (ages 4 to 11), Senior Prep School (ages 11 to 13), Senior School (ages 13 to 16) and Sixth Form (ages 16 to 18).

Day pupils and boarders

We offer places to day pupils and boarders. Our flexi and weekly boarding options are popular with pupils from the local area as well as further afield.

Location

The College is ideally situated in the Sussex countryside, between Haywards Heath and Brighton, and is within easy reach of London by train. We offer extensive transport services across Sussex, Surrey and Kent, including a minibus service and a chaperoned weekly return train service from Clapham Junction.

Academic excellence and opportunities

Academic excellence is the foundation of a Hurst education because we believe it opens doors to the future. Therefore every child is challenged and supported in our warm and friendly community, throughout their academic journey.

At Hurst, we are ambitious for each of our pupils and who they can become. Each child has the opportunity to access all the College has to offer and we encourage each pupil to engage and enjoy all aspects of school life.

We want our pupils to learn the importance of certain values: a sense of duty, an awareness of right and wrong and a respect for others. We want pupils to be ambitious with a clear sense of purpose, to acquire a balanced view of life and develop into independent, mature individuals.

We believe that each pupil must be given every opportunity to achieve their personal best in order to progress to the university of their choice or make a successful move into their chosen profession.
