Customised spaces
The Hurst campus includes versatile spaces which can be customised for your requirements. Each facility can be booked as a stand-alone area or combined with other areas of the College.
Hurst has a number of suggested Hire Packages, but you are welcome to create your own to create your ideal event.
Requirements
To ensure safety and compliance, all hirers must provide:
- Safeguarding policy provided with nominated DSL contact details
- Safer Recruitment Policy/statement provided including DBS certification for any staff working with children or vulnerable adults
- Public Liability Insurance (at the minimum cover level specified by Hurst College)
- A completed Booking Form prior to confirmation

Sports Hall
A full-sized Sports Hall which can be configured for a range of indoor sports, or can be hired for events.
AstroTurf Sports Pitches
Hurst has three AstroTurf Sports Pitches available for hire. The pitches are suitable for adult and junior Hockey games and training.
Swimming Pool
The Hurst Swimming Pool opened in September 2025 and is available to hire.
Climbing Wall
Hurst鈥檚 indoor climbing wall is suitable for adults and children and is ideal as a fun activity or team-building session. Hire includes a Climbing Instructor.
Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)
The College has a covered, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) which is suitable for a wide range of outdoor sports and activities.
Cricket Pitches
Hurst has six well-maintained Cricket Pitches, suitable for children and adults, available for hire.
Cricket Nets
Hurst offers both indoor and outdoor Cricket Nets for hire, providing flexible training options all year round. Whether you鈥檙e preparing for a match, running a coaching session, or organising a cricket event, our facilities support batting and bowling practice in all weather conditions.
Pavilions
Hurst has three Cricket/Sports Pavilions which are located next to the Cricket Pitches and sports fields.
Tennis/Netball Courts
Multi-use courts available to hire as Tennis courts or Netball courts.
Football Pitches
Hurst has two Football Pitches available for hire.
Rugby Pitches
Hurst has 13 Rugby Pitches available for hire.
Netball Court (Prep School)
A Netball Court situated directly outside the front of the Prep School. Ideal for Netball practice, games and family sports events.
Highfield Cage Sports Pitch
The 鈥楬ighfield Cage鈥� is a smaller AstroTurf pitch, ideal for children鈥檚 Hockey games and training.
