Pupils from Hurstpierpoint delivered an impressive performance in the 2025/2026 IAPS Online Individual Championship and Team Qualifier, a major national competition that brought together schools from across the UK.听
Across the U9 and U13 categories, the tournament saw an extraordinary 2,820 games played, highlighting both the scale and competitive spirit of this year鈥檚 event.听
Hurst鈥檚 team excelled throughout the championship, finishing 3rd overall out of 45 competing teams鈥攁 significant achievement in such a large and diverse field. Adding to the success,听Rafe T听secured a place in the top 10 players nationally, marking a standout individual performance.听
Based on this tournament鈥檚 results,听six听additional听teams听will听be听set to听qualify for the next stage.听With strong results on both the individual and team fronts, Hurst听continues to听demonstrate听its growing reputation in competitive online strategy events.听听
