Earlier this month, the Chapel was filled with joy and celebration as the Bishop of Lewes, Will Hazelwood, confirmed thirteen pupils and one member of staff in a heartfelt service.
Recently, moved by a line of dialogue spoken by Tom Cruise鈥檚 character in the movie, Top Gun: Maverick, Hazelwood, reframed the quote to a religious context and he shared this inspiring message, 鈥淚t鈥檚 not about what you are, but who you are, and that the journey of faith is about discovering the answer to this profound question鈥�.
The service was a significant milestone for the fourteen Confirmation candidates who took this important step in their faith journey, surrounded by their families and friends. The atmosphere was one of warmth and community, making it a truly memorable occasion for everyone involved.
