This year鈥檚 very strong GCSE results are once again a reflection of the sheer dedication and hard work that has gone into this year group throughout their Middle School journey at Hurst. In a sign of real academic and intellectual strength at the top end, we have seen a significant uplift in the number of 8s and 9s, at a total of 57.5% of all grades awarded. Overall, an impressive 78% of GCSE grades were between 7 and 9.
The Head of College, Dominic Mott, paid tribute not only to those who achieved top grades, but also to those pupils who really engaged with the incredible range of support and interventions on offer. That individual support and those extra Clinics and revision sessions helped every pupil to achieve their personal best:聽鈥淚t鈥檚 just 鈥榳hat we do鈥� here at Hurst鈥�, he said, 鈥渁nd our staff are so invested in the pupils鈥� success, which makes days like today even more special鈥�.
