Hurst pupils began their day with warmth and celebration on Friday 13 March,听as Reception to Year 2听mums听gathered for a special Mother鈥檚 Day.听The event听welcomed mothers and mother figures into school for a cheerful start to the morning听and a听delicious听offering听of pastries and fresh fruit.听
Laughter and conversation filled the room as families enjoyed a rare moment of calm together before the school day began.听The breakfast听provided a lovely opportunity for pupils听to show appreciation for the important women in their lives, while also helping to create lasting memories ahead of Mother鈥檚 Day.听To finish, the pupils sang a heartfelt song to show just how much these special women mean to them.听听
