Some of Hurst’s youngest riders produced outstanding performances at the Grass RootsÌýSouth EastÌýRegional Final, held at Felbridge Showground, achieving excellent individual and team results against strong regional competition.Ìý

The day began in fine style with Willow I, riding Daisy in the assisted section. The pair delivered a superb clear round, earning an excellent style score that secured 1st place and the overall win. It was a fantastic achievement and a well-deserved title for a confident and polished performance.Ìý

Next into the arena was Maggie H, competing in the 40cm led section aboard Louie. Maggie also jumped a clear round and scored highly, finishing in an impressive 2nd place. It marked a brilliant start to the day for both riders and set the tone for the competition ahead.Ìý

Hurst then fielded a team in the 50cmÌýoptimumÌýtime class, with Willow riding both Daisy and Bailey, joined by Isla C on Smartie. Despite picking up a few faults around the course, the team rode with determination and teamwork to finish a very respectable 4th place in the final. Individually, Willow produced a double clear round on Daisy, finishing just 1.89 seconds off theÌýoptimumÌýtime to secure an excellent 2nd place.Ìý

Congratulations go to all Hurst riders who took part in what was a highly competitive regional final. A special mention must go to Willow, who ended the day with an impressive four finalist rosettes, capping offÌýa highly successfulÌýand memorable competition for the Hurst team.Ìý
