The opening match saw a closely fought contest against Brighton College Prep听Handcross, with the girls narrowly missing out by just one goal. Undeterred, the team rallied superbly, delivering dominant wins over Ardingly听Prep,听Hawthorns听and St Christopher鈥檚 to finish second in their group.听
Their strong group-stage run earned them a place in the semi-final against a formidable Streatham听and听Clapham side. The match proved to be a tense, goal-for-goal battle, but a crucial turnover on the team鈥檚 centre pass听ultimately denied听them a spot in the final.听
Despite the setback, the girls听demonstrated听admirable resilience. In the 3rd/4th place play-off, they regrouped with determination and produced an excellent performance to defeat Brighton College听Prep听Handcross, securing a well-deserved bronze medal.听
It was a day of impressive effort, teamwork, and听tenacity, an听achievement the whole听team听can be proud of.听
