Year 8 pupils delighted audiences with their enchanting stage production of听The Wizard of Oz.听
The adaptation brought L. Frank Baum鈥檚 beloved story to life as Dorothy Gale was swept from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz. Throughout the performances, Dorothy travelled the yellow brick road to the Emerald City, joined by three unforgettable companions: a Scarecrow searching for a brain, a Tin Man hoping for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion longing for courage.听
Together, the group faced challenges from the Wicked Witch of the West, all while discovering the importance of friendship, bravery, and self-belief. The production concluded with Dorothy鈥檚 heartfelt realisation that the power to return home had been within her all along.听
The show received warm praise from staff, families, and fellow pupils, who celebrated the cast鈥檚 hard work, creativity, and confident performances. It proved to be a memorable and uplifting highlight of the school calendar.听
